About dragon names
Writers and gamers need names that sound heavy when spoken aloud or printed on a page. Heavy consonants such as K, Z, and R provide a sense of weight to each entry. Many names combine draconic syllables with natural elements like fire, frost, or shadow to establish a formidable presence.
The naming style draws from linguistic patterns found in ancient mythologies. Longer names often imply older, more intelligent dragons. Shorter, sharper names work well for smaller or more aggressive species.

Match the phonetic hardness of the name to the dragon's physical traits.
